Congrats to my friends Scott and Lisa! They’re welcoming a new bundle of joy in about a month and I’m so excited they let me take their maternity photos! They’re so cute, they brought their bunny rabbit Peekaboo along for some photos too. Can’t wait til the baby comes!
*jennifer’s photoshoot*
I’ve been searching for some tall grassy fields for the midwestern kind of look for a really long time since I love looking at couple’s pictures where the backdrop is infinitely glowy and gorgeous. I love the photos where the couples are romantically backlit with a beautiful sunset, and I thought, what better time to create these photos other than summertime? My roommate let me borrow and direct her to get the photos I imagined in my head. This was soooooo much fun — thanks Jennifer for letting your inner model shine through!! You look beautiful! <3
Melissa + Josh
I was super excited to assist my friend Josh photograph his USC buddies Melissa and Josh getting married!!! The wedding was beautifully located in Temecula at the Pala Mesa Resort. It was everything I ever imagined in an outdoor wedding plus so much more. Loved the advice tree — so cute and creative! To Melissa + Josh: may your love be everlasting!
Eileen’s Family Session
I love kids! Their smiles and laughter are purely contagious. I will admit kids are probably one of the hardest to take photos for obvious reasons — they move around constantly and are in their own little world. Even though it was tough, I had a lot of fun and hoped that I captured many great moments of this family with their two bundles of joy. Smile!
Real Estate
Home — a place of comfort, relaxation, and love. I personally love looking at beautiful homes. When I was younger, I remember going house-hunting with my parents and run through homes in awe of all the space and the idea that I’d get my own room (oh boy!) My favorites were the model homes, where they were professionally staged, with fake fruits on the kitchen counter, fake books in the library area, and photos of a happy family that supposedly could have lived in the new developments. Anyways, that was just my random stroll down memory lane. Presently, my friend is selling her gorgeous house and needed some photos for their listing. I’m so glad she let me take photos of her place.
UCLA Chinese Cultural Dance Club Headshots
Chinese Cultural Dance is one of my favorite dances to watch because each dance tells a story. There’s so much elegance, poise, and is such an art. I’m definitely supporting these lovely girls this year, especially my roommate Karen! Can’t wait to see the beautifully vibrant costumes and how the dance routines unfold!
Here’s my plug for the club: The show will be held on Saturday, May 19 at the UCLA’s prestigious Royce Hall and tickets are absolutely free! If you are a non-UCLA student, you may reserve tickets now at our website: http://www.ccdcbruins.com. UCLA students may obtain tickets from the CTO office starting May 14th at 10 AM.
You can also find the rest of the headshots here.
