I am so amazed at how powerful social media can be. Stacey & Lucas connected with me by a referral through my friend on Twitter! Their wedding was held at Manhattan Beach and was simple, elegant, and magical. I’m so happy I was able to get some great shots of the two — it certainly helps to have gorgeous subjects! Stacey, you were a beautiful bride and Lucas, you were dashing. Picture perfect couple — enjoy your new life together!!
I present to you my singer-songwriter-pianist and incredibly talented friend: Miss Isabella Tang! I had so much fun taking her headshots with the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Downtown LA providing the perfect backdrop. I even got to be personally serenaded by her beautiful voice while she played on a Steinway Grand Piano!!! I am so excited for your musical journey, Isabella! You are super talented and I can’t wait until the world gets to discover what a powerful voice and talent you have!
Babies are so cute — you can just stare at them all day! I had a lot of fun taking photos of Baby Oliver! He was a bit fussy in the beginning but after a few tricks and soothing jungle music, he was able to calm down and model for me! Even at 2 weeks old, he was already comfortable with looking straight into the camera, which I luckily got to capture. Congrats again, Kim and Jamie on your bundle of joy!
Wedding bells rang at Casa Romantica on 6.29.2013 and I was so excited to have attended to my first friend’s wedding!!! I remember when these two lovebirds first got together 2 years ago. It seemed like yesterday when I took their practice engagement photos for them. *tears of joy* I was definitely happy that I was able to enjoy the wedding and wasn’t the official photographer but I just couldn’t help myself…these two are too adorable to not take pictures of! I am so happy for them and excited to see their future together. Congratulations again — Love Never Fails! Cheers to a Happily Ever After! <3
I love getting to know clients as friends during a photoshoot. I’m so happy I got the chance to shoot this sweet and adorable Cal Bears family — they were so easy to work with and made my work easy! Babies in general have so much curiosity and sometimes are hard to capture their attention, but with the help of some squeaky toys and tickling, Lena was all giggles! Thank you Kathy for gifting a photo session to your BFF!
In my college days, I was involved with China Care Bruins, a club dedicated to enriching the lives of Chinese adoptees in the US and orphans in China. A few weekends ago I went back to join the end of the year banquet and was happily surprised to see the little girl that I had mentored a few years ago had grown up to be a sweet teenager. I loved taking photos of these kids — their smiles make my heart light up I get sooo excited when I get to work with cute kids that literally pose themselves. They’re such natural models!!! Love seeing how China Care Bruins is making a positive difference in their lives!
